After such success it was a shock when his other teacher, Miss Kyla, told me that he needed a lot of reminders on Wednesday.
What?!?! Are you sure you're talking about MY kid?!?!
This level of liveliness surprised her as much as it did me. I suppose that since he's far more active within the walls of our home, it was only a matter of time before this behavior entered the classroom.
I gave my boy a lot of attention that evening, kept the TV off, and put him to bed early.
The next day, Miss Kyla and Miss Michelle had their Sweet Sebastian back.
The following day, I got a call from school that I have dreaded since day one. As he was running to line up, Sebastian tripped and went face first into a bookshelf.
Fortunately, Joel hadn't gotten far on his commute to work and was able to turn around and pick him up. This is how he looked last night.
This morning he's sore and swollen, but back to his active, playful self.
