Transformation

I've wrapped up my summer with these beloved children, and my heart is full.  Experiencing God’s benevolence is an overwhelming experience, and to be a part of it is truly powerful.  We fed these little ones until their bellies were full, engaged them in academic experiences, and whisked them off on adventures where we explored, discovered, played, and purely enjoyed each other.  

I've been brought to this place in a powerful way.  Nearly a year ago I was overwhelmed by loss.  I cried out to God along a lengthy and painful emotional descent.  When I reached the point of pure brokenness, God's voice became loud and clear.

God showed me the value of my heart, and directed me immediately to Children of the Valley, a nonprofit program that offers support to students from impoverished homes.  For the past year I've served these children both as a volunteer and an employee.

In this time, I've experienced tremendous healing.  My mind is at peace, my heart is full, and I'm excited to see how God will continue to use me.
